Markham Waxers: The Markham Minor Hockey and Unionville Minor Hockey Association's and the Waxers Junior Hockey Club stand for Tradition, Heritage, Community and Youth Development.
The Town of Markham, (Unionville) Ontario, north of Toronto, isn't much different than other small communities across Canada. It has its own minor hockey associations, which grooms generation after generation of Canadian hockey youth. from house leagues to AAA, to Junior, over 110 years in the OHA.
