Indian festival season should help boost gold prices and increased activity in the automotive industry looks hopeful for platinum and palladium.
MIAMI, FL - Gold's recovery could be further advanced towards the end of October as the Indian festival season increases demand. Traditionally, October is a slow month for gold and a week-long national holiday in China at the beginning of the month will mean less demand from that nation. However it is likely that demand will pick up as the month goes on and India's festival season begins.
