MPI Label Systems, a leader in custom printed labels, RFID tags, and labeling equipment and service, has announced the completion of an asset purchase of ROI Printing Companies, LLC. This latest acquisition by MPI adds another manufacturing operation totaling nine facilities throughout the country with over 550 employees and 35 sales locations.
MPI's new location will operate under the name MPI Labels of Baltimore, Inc. providing the same superior labels and service to the Beverage, Direct Mail, Cosmetic, and other markets that ROI had serviced since 1987.
MPI of Baltimore will provide printed unsupported film, pressure sensitive and paper labels, as well as heat seal pouching, Thermformable APET, and other specialty packaging to the industry. In addition, MPI of Baltimore has pre-press capabilities with a state-of-the-art digital...
