TransUnion, Equifax and Experian will stop providing Tax Lien information on credit reports starting April 2018, but clients can still get information by ordering County Civil Reports through AAA Credit Screening Services.
The nationwide consumer credit bureau TransUnion has announced its intention to cease reporting tax lien data on its consumer credit reports starting the week of April 16, 2018 to better meet the standards of the National Consumer Assistance Plan (“NCAP”), an initiative started by the three major nationwide consumer credit bureaus.
The other two major credit bureaus involved in the NCAP, Equifax and Experian, are also expected to remove tax liens from their reports starting in April. As a res...
