Guaranty Trust Bank plc has released its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012 to the Nigerian and London Stock Exchanges.
A review of the result shows strong and positive performance across all financial indices. The Bank recorded a 21.86% growth in gross earnings, from N126.90 billion reported for the corresponding period in 2011 to N154.64 billion for this year. Profit before tax was N75.58 billion, up from N50.99 billion; while the Bank’s non-performing loan ratio remains low at 3.23%. The Bank reported shareholders’ funds of N269.39 billion for the period.
