Advantage Credit Counseling Service is now able to offer bankruptcy counseling to 38 states total. ACCS has completed over 5,600 bankruptcy counseling sessions in 2011.
Advantage Credit Counseling Service, Inc. (ACCS) has recently been approved by the Executive Office for the U.S. Trustee (EOUST) to expand its pre-filing bankruptcy counseling services to 13 new states for consumers who intend to file Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcies. A basic condition under the bankruptcy law stipulates that consumers must receive mandatory credit counseling from an approved agency within 180 days prior to filing for bankruptcy.
